Ann K. Brennan advises shareholders, executives, private equity investors, law firms and family offices about the design and use of executive benefit plans and retirement plans, many of which involve specialized life insurance programs. Such plans include deferred compensation, ESOPs, phantom stock, succession, executive bonus plans, wealth transfer strategies as well as private placement life insurance. She is frequently retained to analyze and restructure existing life insurance programs when greater cost efficiencies and custom solutions are desired.
Ann is a leading expert in executive and key person disability programs for public and private companies as well as professional firms. With a national reputation for dedicated and highly personal service, she designs sophisticated individual disability income programs for highly compensated executives and law firm partners, both in the U.S and internationally. The American Bar Association engaged Ms. Brennan to develop and provide disability income programs to some of the largest law firms in the country.
Her company is often retained to provide concierge insurance services involving in depth insurance needs’ analysis, both corporate and personal, to individual C Suite executives.
Ann’ is a member of the Deal Exchange Group, Trusted Advisors Council (TAC) and the Chicago Metro Business Council. She speaks nationally on insurance and executive benefit trends as well as how to develop and enhance business networking skills.
Ms. Brennan received her B.A. cum laude in Modern Languages from Boston College and her M.A. in German from Middlebury College. She also studied at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and the Johannes Gutenberg Universität in Mainz, Germany.
Her community activities include being a mentor for the Murray Hill Institute Young Leaders’ program, New York, and Creator of the Sacred and Secular Discoveries program in the greater Chicago area. She recently ran for public office in Lake County, IL.
Ann is fluent in French and German. She has studied Spanish, Japanese and Russian.
